The 2023 ‘Access WS darkpurple’n’pink’ model from Cube is a versatile and robust mountain bike that stands out thanks to its well-thought-out features and attractive design. Priced at 599 EUR, it offers good value for money for both beginners and more experienced riders.

The Access WS’s frame is made from Aluminium Lite and, thanks to Advanced Mechanical Forming (AMF) technology, is particularly light and sturdy. The double-butted design provides additional strength, whilst the internal cable routing ensures a clean look and offers extra protection for the cables. The frame is also fitted with flat-mount brake mounts, a SIC mount and an FM kickstand mount. The maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 14 kg.

Reliable braking power is provided by the Clarks Clout 1 hydraulic disc brakes, which are fitted with 160 mm brake discs at the front and rear. The wheelsets consist of CUBE ZX20 rims with 32 spokes and CUBE Alloy Light hubs (QR, 6-bolt), fitted with 2.25 CUBE IMPAC Smartpac tyres, which provide good grip and traction. The Natural Fit Venec Lite WS saddle and the CUBE Performance seatpost (27.2 mm) offer comfort on long rides, whilst the CUBE Varioclose saddle clamp (31.8 mm) secures the saddle firmly in place.
