Conway Xyron S 3.7

The "Xyron S 3.7" model from Conway, released in 2022, is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 4,799 EUR, it features a wide range of high-quality components that ensure an optimal riding experience. At the heart of the bike is the fourth-generation BOSCH “Performance CX” mid-drive motor, which delivers 250 W of power at a voltage of 36 V. The motor is supported by a BOSCH ‘Powertube 625’ battery with a capacity of 625 Wh, which provides sufficient power for extended rides. The BOSCH ‘Kiox’ display offers four assistance levels and a push-assist function to make operation easier.

Gear changes are handled by a SRAM “GX Eagle” 12-speed system, combined with a SRAM “NX Eagle Trigger” shifter, which enables precise and easy gear changes. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM “SX Eagle”, whilst the SRAM “PG 1230 Eagle” cassette, with a gear range of 11–50 teeth, offers a wide range of gearing. The braking system consists of TRP “Slate EVO HD-M807” 4-piston brakes with matching brake levers and 203 mm TRP “RS01E 203 2.3” front brake discs, which ensure reliable braking performance.

The Xyron S 3.7’s suspension is completed by a MARZOCCHI “Z2” fork with 150 mm of travel and a FOX “Float DPS” shock, which ensures excellent damping and control on uneven terrain. The frame is fitted with a CONWAY “Low Rizer” handlebar with a diameter of 35 mm and a width of 780 mm, which, in combination with the CONWAY stem, ensures comfortable and stable handling.

The wheelsets consist of RODI “Ready 35” rims fitted with SCHWALBE “Hans Dampf” tyres in size 65-584, ensuring optimum grip and stability. The hubs are also by RODI and feature a 6-bolt mounting, whilst the spokes are made from stainless steel. The FIZIK “Aidon” saddle, combined with the CONTEC “Drop-A-Gogo” seatpost – which has a diameter of 31.6 mm and a 100 mm stroke – offers comfort even on longer rides.
