Conway TS 4.0

Conway’s “TS 4.0” model from 2022 is a well-equipped bike which, at a price of 799 EUR, falls within an attractive price range for value-conscious buyers. Shimano’s “BR-MT200” hydraulic disc brakes, combined with the “ST-EF505” brake levers, deliver reliable braking performance. The front and rear brake discs, at 160 mm, are sufficiently sized to bring the bike to a safe stop even at higher speeds.

The TS 4.0’s gear system is fitted with the Shimano “Acera RD-360” 8-speed derailleur, which is operated by the “ST-EF505” shifter. The Shimano “FD-TY710” front derailleur ensures precise gear changes and enhances the bike’s versatility. The RST “Volant ML” fork, with 63 mm of travel, contributes to a comfortable ride by effectively absorbing bumps in the road.

Lighting is provided by the combination of the CONTEC “DLUX 30” front light and the “TL135” rear light, which are powered by a Shimano “DH3D37” QR hub dynamo. This guarantees a constant and reliable power supply without the need for batteries. The Marwi “SP 610” pedals, together with the Shimano “BB-UN100” bottom bracket and the KMC “Z8.1” drivetrain, provide a solid foundation for efficient pedalling.

The handlebars – a CONWAY Riser with a width of 700 mm – and the HERRMANS “DD37” grips ensure comfortable handling and control. The stem measures 31.8 mm in diameter and 105 mm in length, which promotes an ergonomic riding position. The wheels feature CONWAY “X11” hollow-section rims fitted with CONTINENTAL “Ride Tour” tyres in size 47-622 to ensure good road holding. The front and rear hubs are by Shimano, with the front hub also acting as a dynamo.

The SELLE ROYAL “Shadow” saddle, together with the CONWAY Patent seatpost, offers comfort even on longer rides. Practical features such as the SKS “A53” mudguards, the URSUS “Wave” kickstand and the ATRAN “Tour Pro” luggage rack with spring-loaded flap round off the TS 4.0’s specification, making it an ideal companion for everyday use and touring. The use of black steel spokes emphasises the bike’s robust design.
