Conway GRV 9.0

The Conway GRV 9.0, launched in 2023, is a high-quality gravel bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 2799 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and well-thought-out features. The bike’s frame is made of carbon, which ensures not only a low weight but also high stiffness. The full-carbon fork complements the frame and contributes to the overall performance.

Braking performance is provided by a hydraulic disc brake system, fitted with SHIMANO “GRX ST-RX600” brake levers and the SHIMANO “GRX BR-RX400” front brake. This combination ensures reliable braking power in a wide range of conditions. The drivetrain is an 11-speed SHIMANO “RX810” mix, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The bottom bracket is the SHIMANO “BB-71” press-fit version, and the crankset is the SHIMANO “GRX FC-RX600 11” with a 40-tooth chainring. The EASTON “EA50 AX” handlebars, fitted with FIZIK “Bar Tape” grips, offer comfort and control, whilst the EASTON “EA50” stem optimises handling.

The RODI “Ready GR” rims are fitted with SCHWALBE “Overland” tyres in size 700 x 40, ensuring excellent grip and comfort on a wide variety of terrain. The stainless steel spokes and the SHIMANO hubs – “HB-RS470” at the front and “FH-RS470” at the rear – contribute to the stability and durability of the wheelset.

The FIZIK “ARGO Terra 150” saddle offers comfort on long rides, mounted on an EASTON “EA50” seatpost measuring 27.2 mm in diameter and 350 mm in length. Overall, the Conway GRV 9.0 is a well-designed gravel bike that stands for versatility and performance, and performs impressively on both tarmac and unpaved trails.
