Conway eWME 429

The Conway eWME 429, launched in 2021, is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for challenging trails and off-road adventures. Priced at 5099 euros, it offers high-quality components and state-of-the-art technology. The bike’s frame is made from CONWAY Fully Intube Shimano aluminium, ensuring stability and durability. The maximum rider weight is 130 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.

The eWME 429’s braking system is fitted with MAGURA “MT5 eStop” brakes and brake levers, which deliver reliable and powerful braking performance. The brake discs, both front and rear, are MAGURA “MDR-C” with a diameter of 203 mm, with the rear disc fitted with a magnet. The gear system consists of the SHIMANO “Deore XT RD-M8100” with Shadow Plus and offers 12 speeds, controlled by the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M6100” shift levers.

The bike’s suspension is provided by the ROCKSHOX “Lyrik Select” fork with 160 mm of travel and the FOX “Float DPS” rear shock, ensuring a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The drive is supported by the SHIMANO “NEW” mid-drive motor with a rated continuous power output of 250 W. The drive is powered by a SHIMANO lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 630 Wh, which enables a long range. The SHIMANO “SC-EM800” display offers 3-level assistance, remote control and a push assist function.

The components of the eWME 429 have been carefully selected to maximise performance and comfort. The handlebars are CONWAY “Low Rizer” with a diameter of 35 mm and a width of 780 mm, whilst the grips are CONWAY “Sport fix”. The stem measures 35 mm and the headset is a ZS44 / ZS56 with Blocklock. The rims are RODI “Ready 35” and the tyres are SCHWALBE “Magic Mary” Soft at the front and SCHWALBE “Hans Dampf” Soft at the rear, both in size 60-622.

Additional features include stainless steel spokes, RODI hubs (front: 15 x 110 mm; rear: 12 x 148 mm), a FIZIK “Aidon” saddle in Regular 145 and a CONTEC “Drop-A-Gogo” seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.
