Conway Cairon T 2.0 500 Trapez

Conway’s “Cairon T 2.0 500 Trapez” model, launched in 2024, is a versatile and well-equipped e-bike available at a price of 2,849 EUR. With a maximum permissible weight of 130 kg and a kerb weight of 27 kg, it features a robust construction suitable for a variety of uses. The braking system consists of TEKTRO “HD-T280” brakes and brake levers, complemented by 180 mm TEKTRO “TR180-35” brake discs at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The gear system is a 9-speed TEKTRO “M350”, operated via the TEKTRO “SL-M350R” shift lever. The RST “Blaze ML” fork, with 80 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven terrain. The bike is lit by the CONTEC “DLUX 50 E+” front light and the CONTEC “CTL 335 E” rear light, ensuring good visibility in traffic.

The drivetrain consists of a SHIMANO “HG53” and is assisted by a BOSCH Gen.3 “Performance” mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W. The BOSCH “Powertube 500” battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, powers the system, whilst the BOSCH “Intuvia” display with 4 levels and remote control makes operation easy. The bike features an FSA “CK-200” crankset with a length of 170 mm and an FSA “WB385 W1144” chainring, offering a gear ratio of 38 teeth at the front and a TEKTRO “CS-M350”, 11–46 teeth at the rear.

The HUMPERT “Ergotec” low-riser handlebars, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, together with the HUMPERT “Ergotec Octopus” stem – which is adjustable and 90 mm long – ensure a comfortable riding position. The CONWAY “X17” hollow-section rims, combined with the CONTINENTAL “Contact Urban” tyres (50-622, Reflex), provide good road holding. The SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle and the CONWAY patented seatpost (31.6 mm, 350 mm) add to the comfort.

In addition, the e-bike is fitted with SKS “A60S” plastic mudguards, an URSUS “Wave” kickstand, an AXA “Bock XXL” lock and an ATRAN “Cummute Pro” luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap. These features make the Cairon T 2.0 500 Trapez a practical companion for both everyday use and longer rides.
