Conway Cairon C 3.0 Diamant

The Cairon C 3.0 Diamant from Conway, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike model priced at 3,899 euros, placing it in the upper mid-range. The frame is a robust aluminium diamond frame measuring 45 cm and is designed for a maximum load of 130 kg. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the TEKTRO ‘HD-T390’ system, which is fitted with 180 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. The 12-speed SRAM “SX” derailleur enables precise gear changes, supported by the SRAM “SX Eagle Trigger” shifter. The SUNTOUR “XCM34 LOR” fork, with 120 mm of travel, offers additional comfort on uneven terrain.

Visibility on the road is ensured by the CONTEC “DLUX 80 E+” front light and the CONTEC “CTL 335 E” rear light with brake light function. The pedals are VP “VPE-506” models, whilst the crankset and chainring are from MIRANDA, combined with an SRAM “PG 1210 Eagle” chainring with 11–50 teeth.

The handlebars are CONWAY “Riser” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm. The grips are CONTEC “MERGE Mountain Straight”, and the stem is a LEVEL 9 “Adjustable” with a length of 90 mm. The rims are MACH1 “MAXX”, and the tyres are SCHWALBE “Johnny Watts” in size 60-622 with reflective strips for increased visibility.

The bike is fitted with a fourth-generation BOSCH “Performance CX” mid-drive motor, which delivers 250 W at a voltage of 36 V. The BOSCH “Powertube 625” battery has a capacity of 625 Wh, providing sufficient power for extended rides. The BOSCH “Kiox 300” display offers four assistance levels and a push assist, controlled via a remote control.

Other features include a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo Athletic Ergo” saddle, a CONWAY patented seatpost, CURANA “Apollo 75” mudguards, an URSUS “Wave” kickstand and an ATRAN “Cummute Pro” luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap. The bike’s geometry features a seat tube length of 450 mm, a seat tube angle of 75 degrees, a head tube length of 120 mm, a chainstay length of 455 mm and a wheelbase of 1174 mm, which contributes to a stable and comfortable riding position.
