Conway Cairon C 2.0 500 Diamant

The Cairon C 2.0 500 Diamant from Conway, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 3299 EUR, is positioned in the mid-range market. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and features a diamond shape, with a seat tube length of 450 mm and a seat tube angle of 75 degrees. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs around 25 kg.

The Cairon C 2.0 is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch mid-drive motor, the ‘Performance CX’, with an output of 250 watts and a voltage of 36 volts. The integrated battery offers a capacity of 500 Wh, ensuring sufficient assistance on longer rides. Gear changes are handled by a 9-speed Tektro “M350” system, which ensures smooth adaptation to varying riding conditions.

Suspension is provided by the RST “Blaze ML” fork with 120 mm of travel, which enhances comfort on uneven terrain. Braking performance is provided by Tektro “HD-M280” brakes with 180 mm rotors at both the front and rear, offering reliable deceleration.

The Cairon C 2.0 is fitted with Continental “Ruban” tyres, which are highly visible even in low light thanks to their reflective strips. The tyres are mounted on Rodi “Ready 30” rims and are supported by Shimano hubs. The handlebars are Conway “Riser” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 720 mm, whilst the Level 9 stem is adjustable and has a length of 90 mm.

The saddle, a Selle Royal “Vivo Athletic Ergo”, is fitted to a Conway Patent seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and offers ergonomic comfort for longer rides. Practical features such as the SKS “A65R” plastic mudguards, the Ursus “Wave” kickstand and the Atran “Cummute Pro” luggage rack with spring-loaded flap round off the package, making the Cairon C 2.0 a practical everyday companion.

With a wheelbase of 1174 mm and a chainstay length of 455 mm, the bike offers a stable and comfortable riding position.
