Centurion Accordo 400 EQ

The Centurion Accordo 400 EQ is a versatile trekking bike from 2022 that impresses with its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at EUR 1,299, this model offers good value for money for cyclists looking for a reliable companion for everyday use and longer rides. The Accordo 400 EQ’s frame is made of aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels. It features a 1 1/8"–1.5" head tube and 10x135 mm dropouts, whilst the post-mount brake mount is designed for 160 mm disc brakes. The maximum load capacity is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

This model is specifically designed for people between 184 cm and 199 cm in height. The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT410 disc brakes with Shimano BL-M4100 brake levers and Shimano SM-RT30 brake discs at the front and rear, each with a diameter of 180 mm in the Centre Lock format. The Shimano Altus groupset, featuring an RD-M2000-SGS rear derailleur, offers a total of 18 gears and is complemented by Shimano Acera shift levers with gear indicators. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Acera model.

The rigid CENTURION trekking fork ensures a stable ride, whilst the lighting comprises an AXA Compactline 35 front light and an AXA Juno Dyn Steady AC rear light, which ensure safety when cycling at night. The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB52 and the crankset consists of a Shimano Acera with 46-30T, including a chain guard. Power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are PROCRAFT Riser Pro, 700 mm wide with a 22 mm rise, complemented by PROCRAFT Comfort Comp grips. The stem is a PROCRAFT Comp II, 90 mm long with a 17-degree angle. The rims are PROCRAFT JD200 models, fitted with KENDA Kwick Drumlin tyres in size 45-622.

The bike is fitted with Shimano DH-3D72-QR hubs at the front and Shimano Acera hubs at the rear. The saddle is a PROCRAFT Cross Sport II, mounted on a PROCRAFT Pro III seatpost. Other features include CUNRANA C-Lite mudguards, a PROCRAFT Edge kickstand and a CENTURION Racktime Trekking luggage rack for 28-inch bikes.

The frame geometry features a seat tube length of 580 mm, a top tube length of 634 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The wheelbase is 1117 mm, which contributes to a stable ride. With these features, the Centurion Accordo 400 EQ is an excellent choice for cyclists who value quality and functionality.
