Canyon Torque:ON CF 8

The Canyon Torque:ON CF 8 is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike that stands out thanks to its impressive spec and high-quality carbon frame. Priced at 5999 EUR, this model offers a wide range of technical features that are suitable for both challenging trails and longer rides.

The Torque:ON CF’s frame is made of carbon and contributes significantly to its total weight of 24.84 kg. The braking system consists of Shimano SLX brakes with 4 pistons and a maximum brake disc size of 220 mm. A 220 mm diameter Shimano Centre Lock brake disc is fitted at the front, ensuring excellent braking performance.

The bike is equipped with a Shimano SLX 12-speed groupset, which enables precise and reliable gear changes. The gear lever is also from the Shimano SLX series. Optimal suspension is provided by the Fox X2 Performance shock absorber, together with a fork offering 180 mm of travel.

Lighting is provided by a reflector set, whilst the VP-536 pedals ensure a secure grip. The crankset is from Shimano STEPS, which, in combination with the Shimano EP801 motor and the configurable battery, provides powerful assistance. The Canyon BC001 charger is also included in the package.

The Canyon Lock-On grips and the Canyon:ON ST0031 stem with a clamp diameter of 35 mm complete the bike’s cockpit. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 3C MaxxGrip, fitted to DT Swiss HFR1700 wheels measuring 29"/622 mm.

Seating comfort is provided by the Fizik Gravita Alpaca X5 saddle, which is fitted to an Iridium dropper seatpost with a length of 425 mm. Additional equipment includes a Canyon Organza Bag, a 15 mm Wrench Tool, a Canyon Smallbox and a Quick Start Guide (QSG 034-V03 M124 TRQ[ON]).

The bike’s geometry features a reach of 450 mm, a stack of 639 mm, a seat tube length of 395 mm and a top tube length of 592 mm. The seat tube angle is 77 degrees, the head tube length is 105 mm and the standover height is 738 mm. With a crank length of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1 mm, the Torque:ON CF 8 is optimally designed for demanding off-road riding.
