Cannondale Trail Women's 6

The "Trail Women's 6" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 is a versatile mountain bike that has been specially developed for women and is available at a price of EUR 799. The frame of the bike is made of SmartForm C3 Alloy and is equipped with SAVE technology, which provides better shock absorption. The frame has a 1-1/8" head tube size, a post-mount disc brake mount and internal cable routing. It is also compatible with a dropper seatpost and has a BSA-73 bottom bracket shell.

For the brakes, Cannondale relies on hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro, model M275, with 160 mm brake discs both front and rear. The brake levers are also from Tektro and offer reliable and precise braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Alivio, Shadow SGS, combined with a Shimano Alivio 9-speed shifter. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus with a 34.9 mm clamp, resulting in a total of 18 gears.

The suspension fork is an SR Suntour XCM-RL with a travel of 100 mm and a lockout function. It uses a coil spring and has an offset of 42 mm for the 27.5" version and 46 mm for the 29" version. The pedals are Cannondale platform pedals, which provide good grip. The bottom bracket is a sealed cartridge bearing with square mount.

The crankset consists of a Shimano MT210 with a 36/22 tooth configuration. The sprocket is a Shimano HG200 with a gradation of 11-36 teeth, also 9-speed. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebar is a Cannondale riser made of 6061 aluminium with a width of 720 mm, a rise of 25 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The grips are Cannondale dual-density grips, which provide additional comfort. The stem is also made of 6061 aluminium and has an angle of 7 degrees.

The rims are WTB SX19 with 32 spoke holes. The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Rick in the sizes 27.5x2.25" for the XS and SM frames and 29x2.25" for the larger frames, all with K-Guard puncture protection. The hubs are from Shimano, model HBTX 505 at the front and FHTX505 at the rear, and the spokes are made of stainless steel with a thickness of 14g.

The saddle is a Cannondale Stage 2 Women's saddle specially developed for women. The seatpost is made of Cannondale 3, 6061 aluminium and has a length of 350 mm (XS - SM) or 400 mm (MD - LG) depending on the frame size.
