Cannondale SuperSix EVO 3

The 2024 Cannondale SuperSix EVO 3 is a high-quality road bike designed for demanding riders. With a price tag of 4499 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features and high-quality components that ensure both performance and comfort.

The SuperSix EVO 3 frame is made from SuperSix EVO Carbon and features integrated cable routing with switchplate, a 12x142 Syntace Thru-Axle, a BSA 68mm threaded bottom bracket, flat mount disc brakes and an integrated seat clamp. The frame is also SmartSense compatible, which means that it is ready for the integration of intelligent technologies.

Braking is provided by the Shimano 105 R7170 hydraulic disc brake system with 160/160mm RT70 rotors, which offers reliable and powerful braking performance. The brake levers are also Shimano 105 Di2 R7170 hydraulic disc brakes. Shifting is provided by the Shimano 105 Di2 R7150 system, which uses Shimano 105 Di2 R7170 wireless shift levers and enables precise and fast gear changes. The bike has a total of 24 gears.

The fork of the SuperSix EVO 3 is also made of SuperSix EVO carbon and features an integrated headset race, a 12x100mm Syntace Thru-Axle, flat mount disc brakes, internal cable routing and a Delta headset from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4". Depending on the frame size, the offset is either 55mm (44-54cm) or 45mm (56-61cm).

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500 with BSA thread. The crankset is a Shimano 105 R7100 with a chainring ratio of 50/34 and the sprocket is a Shimano 105 R7100 with a gear range of 11-30 and 12 gears. The drivetrain is also provided by Shimano 105 components with 12 gears.

The bike is equipped with Vision Trimax Aero handlebars for aerodynamic efficiency. The grips are made from Cannondale Bar Tape with a thickness of 3.5mm for added comfort. The stem is a Cannondale C1 Conceal made of aluminium with a 31.8mm clamp and a -6° angle. The headset is integrated and ranges from 1-1/8" to 1-1/4".

The wheels consist of DT Swiss R470 db rims with 28 spokes. The tyres are Vittoria Rubino Pro Bright Black in size 700x25c and have reflective stripes for better visibility. The hubs are a Formula CL-712 with 12x100mm centre lock at the front and a Formula RXC-400 with 12x142mm centre lock at the rear. The spokes are made of stainless steel and have a thickness of 14g.

The saddle is a Prologo Nago RS STN with stainless steel rails, while the seatpost is a Cannondale C1 Aero 40 Carbon, which has an offset of either 0mm (44-48cm) or 20mm (51-61cm) depending on the frame size.

The gross weight of the bike is around 31000 grams, making it a lightweight yet robust choice for ambitious cyclists.
