Cannondale Moterra Neo LAB71

The "Moterra Neo LAB71" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 is a state-of-the-art e-mountainbike that is in the premium class with a price tag of EUR 12,999. The frame of the bike consists of a Lab71 Edition Full Carbon Front Triangle and a SmartForm C1 Alloy swing arm, which offers 150 mm of suspension travel. The Proportional Response Tuned Suspension and the removable down tube battery complete the sophisticated design.

For the brakes, Cannondale relies on SRAM Code Ultimate Stealth 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 220/200 mm rotors. The brake levers are also from SRAM and are made of carbon, which helps to reduce weight. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM XX Eagle AXS T-Type system with a SRAM AXS T-Type Ultimate Pod Controller, which offers a total of 12 gears.

The RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork with Charger 3 and DebonAir technology also offers 150 mm of travel and is equipped with a 15x110 mm Thru-Axle and a tapered head tube. The RockShox Deluxe Select + damper with DebonAir technology and adjustable rebound provides additional control and comfort.

Lighting is provided by a SuperNova Mini 2 Pro STVZO front light with high beam switch. The crankset is an ETHIRTEEN ESpec Race Carbon model with 160 mm length and a 34T chainring. The sprocket is a SRAM XX Eagle T-Type with a gradation of 10-52 teeth, matching the flat SRAM XX Eagle T-Type drivetrain.

The handlebar is a HollowGram SAVE riser bar made of carbon with a width of 780 mm, a rise of 30 mm, a backsweep of 8 degrees and an upsweep of 5 degrees. The grips are Cannondale TaperRidge models, while the stem is made from 3D forged 6061 aluminium and features internal cable routing.

The rims are Zipp 3Zero Moto carbon with an inner width of 30 mm and an outer width of 37.5 mm, suitable for 29" tyres at the front (27.5" at the rear for smaller frame sizes). The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF (29x2.6", EXO, tubeless ready) at the front and Maxxis Rekon (29x2.6", EXO, tubeless ready) at the rear. The hubs are Zipp ZM2 models with Thru-Axle mounting.

The saddle is a Cannondale Scoop Shallow Race with titanium rails, mounted on a SRAM Reverb AXS seatpost, which offers an adjustment range of up to 170 mm depending on the frame size.

At the heart of the drive is the Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor, paired with a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The display is a Bosch Kiox 300 with LED remote control, and the charger delivers an output of 4A.
