Cannondale Moterra Neo 3

The "Moterra Neo 3" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for demanding trails and versatile off-road riding. With a price tag of EUR 5999, this bike offers a combination of high-quality components and advanced technology.

The frame of the Moterra Neo 3 is made of SmartForm C1 Alloy and offers 150 mm of suspension travel, which is optimally tuned by the Proportional Response Tuned Suspension. This ensures outstanding riding stability and a comfortable ride, even on demanding terrain.

The bike's brakes are Shimano MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm rotors at the front and rear, which, in combination with the Shimano MT401 hydraulic brake levers, ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT drivetrain system and a Shimano Deore M6100 shift lever with 12 gears, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

At the front, the bike is equipped with a RockShox Yari RC fork, which offers 150 mm of suspension travel and is complemented by a 15x110 mm boost and a 44 mm offset. The RockShox Deluxe Select shock with DebonAir technology and adjustable rebound also provides 150 mm of travel and offers two modes for adapting to different riding conditions.

The drive is provided by the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an output of 250 W, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The Bosch Kiox 300 display with LED remote control provides all important information at a glance. A Bosch 4A charger is included in the scope of delivery.

The bike has an FSA Bosch e-bike crankset with a 55 mm chainline and a 34T chainring. The crankset is a Shimano Deore M6100 with a range of 10-51 teeth, which offers a wide range of gear ratios.

For added comfort and control, the Cannondale 3 Riser handlebars are made from 6061 aluminium with a width of 780 mm, a rise of 15 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The Fabric FunGuy grips offer additional grip and comfort. The stem is also made of Cannondale 3, 6061 aluminium and has a diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 0 degrees.

The wheels consist of WTB ST i30 TCS rims, which are tubeless ready, and are fitted with Maxxis Minion DHF tyres at the front (29x2.6", EXO) and Maxxis Rekon tyres at the rear (29x2.6" or 27.5x2.6" for size S). The hubs are from Formula (15x110 mm) at the front and Shimano MT410 (12x148 mm) at the rear, complemented by stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is a Fabric Scoop Shallow Sport with steel stays, while the seatpost is a TranzX dropper with internal cable routing and an adjustment range of 130 mm (size S) or 150 mm (sizes M-XL).

The geometry of the bike includes a reach of 510 mm, a stack of 650 mm, a seat tube length of 490 mm, a top tube length of 672 mm, a head tube angle of 65 degrees, a seat tube angle of 77 degrees, a head tube length of 135 mm, a chainstay length of 455 mm, a fork pre-bend of 44 mm, a standover height of 770 mm and a wheelbase of 1288 mm.
