The Cannondale Mavaro Neo SL 2 StepThru from 2024 is a modern e-bike designed for urban use. It combines high-quality components with a well thought-out design and therefore offers a reliable and comfortable way of getting around town. The price for this model is EUR 2299.

The frame of the Mavaro Neo SL 2 StepThru is made of SmartForm C3 Alloy and has an integrated downtube battery and internal cable routing, which makes for a tidy look. The frame is designed as a step-thru version, which makes it easier to get on and off the bike. An 18 mm two-bolt kickstand mount is also integrated.

Hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro (model HD-275) are used for the brakes, which are equipped with 160 mm rotors and ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a microSHIFT RD-M26L rear derailleur and a microSHIFT TS39-7 shifter, which together offer seven gears.

The fork is an SR Suntour NEX with a special crown and offers 50 mm of travel, which provides additional comfort on uneven roads. The lighting consists of a Lezyne E65 front light and a Super Bright rear light to ensure visibility in traffic.

The drive is provided by a Bafang G020 hub motor with 350 watts of power. This is powered by a Darfon battery with a capacity of 360 Wh. The Kingmeter YKPP01 display shows important information such as speed and battery status. The Darfon charger has an output of 36V 4A.

The bottom bracket is a Darfon Cadence Sensor 73-122MM, while the crankset comes from Samox with a 38T chainring. The sprocket is a Sunrace M40 with a gradation of 11-34 teeth. The chain is a KMC Z7, which is also designed for seven gears.

The handlebars are made of Cannondale Riser 6061 Alloy and have a width of 680 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The grips are Herrmans Ergo, which provide additional comfort. The stem is a Cannondale Intellimount with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is integrated and tapers from 1-1/8 to 1.5 inches.

The wheels consist of double-walled aluminium rims with 36 holes, which are specially designed for disc brakes. The tyres are Schwalbe Big Ben in size 700x50c, which provide good grip and comfort. The hubs are Formula at the front and the Bafang G020 hub motor at the rear. The spokes are DT Swiss Champion with a thickness of 13g.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Explora, which is mounted on a Cannondale 3 seatpost made of 6061 Alloy with the dimensions 31.6x350mm. Mudguards are fitted at both the front and rear to protect against splashing water. A sturdy pannier rack that can carry up to 18kg and a kickstand round off the equipment.
