Cannondale Mavaro Neo 5+

The 2024 model "Mavaro Neo 5+" from the Cannondale brand is a versatile e-bike available for 3799 EUR. The frame consists of a Mavaro Neo Si SmartForm C1 Alloy step-thru design with a removable downtube battery and fully internal cable routing. The frame features a 135x9mm sliding dropout system that allows for easy maintenance and customisation.

Braking performance is provided by TRP Slate G4 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors, which in combination with the TRP hydraulic brake levers provide reliable and powerful deceleration. Shifting is provided by Shimano Deore M4100 components with a 10-speed system that enables precise and smooth shifting. The gear lever is also a Shimano Deore M4100, 10-speed.

The front suspension is provided by the HeadShok DL50 fork with 50 mm travel and Isolated Damper Technology as well as a 15x100 mm Thru-Axle. The Axa Compactline 35E front light and the Axa Blueline rear light ensure optimum visibility in road traffic.

The e-bike is equipped with Cannondale Urban pedals and has an FSA Bosch e-bike crankset with a 38-tooth chainring. The crankset is a Shimano HG500 with a gradation of 11-42 teeth, matching the 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain system. The handlebar is a Cannondale E-Series Alloy with ergonomic backsweep and a width of 680 mm, complemented by Cannondale Ergo Performance Lock-On grips.

The stem is an adjustable Cannondale 1 Adjustable Si Stem with integrated cable routing and SP-Connect mount. The headset system is a Cannondale HeadShok. The rims are double-walled Cannondale 2 models, fitted with Schwalbe Big Ben tyres in size 28x2.00" (50-622) with K-Guard puncture protection and reflective sidewalls.

The front hub is a Shimano MT400 with a 15x100 mm Thru-Axle, while the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505. Both hubs are connected with DT Swiss Champion spokes. The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave model, mounted on a Cannondale 4 seatpost made of 6061 aluminium in lengths of 300 mm (SM), 350 mm (MD) and 400 mm (LG).

Other accessories include Wingee mudguards, an ABUS Pro Shield frame lock and a pannier rack that is Atran Velo compatible. At the heart of the drive is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor with 250W power, powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The system is controlled via the Bosch Purion display and charging is carried out using a Bosch 2A charger.
