Cannondale Kids Trail Balance

The "Kids Trail Balance" model from the "Cannondale" brand from 2024 is a balance bike for children that is characterised by its high-quality workmanship and well thought-out features. With a price of EUR 249, it offers a good combination of quality and affordability.

The frame of the "Kids Trail Balance" is made of SmartForm C3 Alloy and is designed to allow easy and low entry. This makes it easier for children to get on and off the bike and provides additional safety.

Braking power is provided by a Promax V-brake, which is operated with an aluminium brake lever with linear pull action. The bike has one gear, which simplifies handling for children and keeps the focus on balance.

The model's fork is the Cannondale Little Lefty 12, a rigid fork also made of SmartForm C3 Alloy with a 1-1/8" head tube, which ensures stability and durability. The handlebars are made of lightweight aluminium, have a diameter of 25.4 mm and a width of 460 mm, which makes for comfortable handling. The grips are specially designed for children and offer additional comfort.

The stem is made of forged and machined aluminium, has a length of 30 mm and is equipped with a precisely fitting stem cover. The headset comes from FSA and is made of aluminium, semi-integrated and also designed for a 1-1/8" head tube.

The rims of the "Kids Trail Balance" are made of lightweight aluminium, have a size of 12 inches and are fitted with 16 spokes. The tyres are from Innova and measure 12x1.75 inches, with a versatile profile that is suitable for various surfaces. The spokes are made of black steel and have a thickness of 14g.

The front hub is the Little Lefty single-sided hub, while the rear hub is made of aluminium with a bolted axle. The saddle and seat post are specially designed for children, with the saddle providing extra comfort and the seat post consisting of a single piece of aluminium without a clamp and having a diameter of 25.4 mm.

The total weight of the "Kids Trail Balance" is 19000 grams, making it a robust yet easy-to-handle balance bike for children.
