Cannondale Kids Trail 20

The "Kids Trail 20" model from Cannondale, released in 2024, is a versatile children’s bike available for 399 EUR. It features a robust frame made from SmartForm C3 Alloy, which is designed for rim brakes and fitted with mounts for a luggage rack and mudguards. The brakes are Promax V-brakes, which, together with the linear aluminium brake levers, provide reliable braking performance.

The microSHIFT M21S system is used for gear changes, operated via a 7-speed twist shifter from microSHIFT. The stem is made from forged and machined aluminium, is 30 mm long and is fitted with a matching stem cap. The headset is made of aluminium and is supplied by FSA. The rims are lightweight aluminium constructions from Cannondale, with a diameter of 20 inches and 28 spoke holes. The tyres are Innova 20x1.95" with a versatile tread pattern.

The hubs are made of aluminium; the front hub has a nut-fastened axle, whilst the rear hub has a 7-speed freehub. The spokes are made of black steel and have a gauge of 14g. The saddle and seatpost are also designed with children’s comfort in mind; the saddle is from Cannondale Kid’s Comfort, and the one-piece aluminium seatpost has a diameter of 25.4 mm.
