Cannondale Kids Quick 24

The "Kids Quick 24" model from the Cannondale brand from 2024 is a versatile and robust bike that has been specially developed for young riders. With a price tag of EUR 429, it offers solid equipment and high quality. The frame is made of SmartForm C3 Alloy and is equipped with rim brakes and mounts for pannier racks and mudguards. This not only ensures durability, but also versatility.

The bike is equipped with Promax V-brakes which, in combination with the Alloy linear pull brake levers, offer reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a microSHIFT M21S with 7 gears, which is controlled via a microSHIFT low-torque twist shift lever. This enables easy and precise shifting, ideal for young riders.

The rigid fork is also made of SmartForm C3 Alloy and has a 1" headset and mounts for mudguards. The pedals are Wellgo Composite Platform with reflectors, which contributes to the rider's safety. The bottom bracket is a cartridge type with a square cone, while the Prowheel crankset (Pro-V30) has a length of 145 mm and a 30-tooth chainring.

The sprocket is a Sunrace model with a gradation of 11-28 teeth and 7 gears, complemented by a KMC Z7 chain. The handlebars are made of lightweight aluminium, have a diameter of 25.4 mm and a width of 580 mm. The grips are specially developed for children and offer a high level of comfort.

The stem is made of forged and machined aluminium, has a length of 30 mm and is equipped with a protective cap. The headset is a semi-integrated aluminium model from FSA. The rims are also made of lightweight aluminium, have a diameter of 24 inches and are fitted with 28 spokes.

The tyres are Kenda Small Block 8 with the dimensions 24x1.5", which ensures good traction and stability. The hubs are made of KT Alloy, whereby the front hub is equipped with a quick release and the rear hub has a 7-speed freewheel. The spokes are made of steel and are black in colour.

The saddle is a Cannondale Kid's Comfort model and, together with the seat post made from a single piece of aluminium (diameter 25.4 mm), offers a high level of comfort. The total weight of the bike is 32,000 grams, making it a lightweight yet stable companion for young cyclists.
