Cannondale Habit HT 1

The Cannondale Habit HT 1 from 2024 is a versatile hardtail mountain bike that is characterised by its high-quality equipment and robust construction. The frame is made of SmartForm C2 Alloy and is equipped with a tapered head tube and a post-mount disc brake mount. The internal cable routing ensures a tidy appearance and compatibility with a Vario seatpost increases the bike's flexibility.

For the brakes, Cannondale relies on hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano. The MT420 brakes with four pistons and 180 mm RT30 brake discs offer reliable braking performance in a wide range of conditions. The Shimano MT400 brake levers ensure precise and controlled deceleration.

The shifting system consists of the Shimano Deore 6100 groupset with 12 gears, which are operated via the Shimano Deore M6100 shift lever. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano FC-5121 crankset with a 30-tooth chainring and a Shimano Deore M6100 sprocket (10-51 teeth), which enables a wide gear ratio for different types of terrain.

The RockShox 35 Silver suspension fork with 130 mm travel and Solo Air technology provides excellent damping on rough terrain and ensures a stable ride. The fork is equipped with a 15x110 mm Thru-Axle and a tapered head tube, which increases stiffness.

The bike is not equipped with pedals so that the rider can fit their favourite pedals. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BSA 73, matching the rest of the drive system.

The handlebar, a Cannondale 3 Riser made of 6061 aluminium, has a width of 780 mm, a rise of 15 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. Combined with the Cannondale 3 stem, the result is a comfortable and controlled steering geometry.

The WTB ST i30 TCS rims are tubeless ready and are supported by Shimano MT400 hubs at the front and Shimano MT410 hubs at the rear. The tyres are WTB Vigilante in the sizes 29x2.5" front and 29x2.4" rear, also tubeless ready, which ensures excellent traction.

The saddle is a Cannondale Ergo XC, mounted on a Cannondale DownLow Dropper seatpost with internal routing and different adjustment travel depending on the frame size (125 mm for size S, 150 mm for size M and 170 mm for sizes L-XL).

With a total weight of 50,000 g, the Habit HT 1 offers a balanced geometry with a reach of 480 mm, a stack of 641 mm, a seat tube length of 445 mm and a top tube length of 617 mm. The head tube angle is 66 degrees, the seat tube angle is 78 degrees and the chainstay length is 435 mm. The standover height is 751 mm and the wheelbase measures 1239 mm.
