Cannondale 700 U Topstone Crb 6

The 2021 Cannondale “700 U Topstone Crb 6” is a versatile gravel bike designed for discerning riders. The frame is made of carbon and is fitted with the Kingpin suspension system, which ensures a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The frame also features a 12x142 Speed Release thru-axle and internal cable routing, and is compatible with a Vario seatpost. The price for this model is 2,799 EUR.

The Topstone Crb 6 is fitted with Shimano GRX 400 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring 160 mm RT64 rotors at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX 400 Shadow RD+ with a 2x10-speed system, enabling precise and smooth gear changes. The front derailleur is also a Shimano GRX 400, fitted with a braze-on mount.

The bike’s fork is made from full carbon and features a 1-1/8" to 1.5" head tube diameter and a 55 mm OutFront offset. It is designed for flat-mount disc brakes and features internal cable routing as well as a 12x100 Speed Release thru-axle. The bottom bracket is a Cannondale BB30, whilst the crankset is a Cannondale 1, BB30a with an OPI SpideRing in sizes 46/30. The cassette consists of a Shimano HG500, 11-36, 10-speed.

The drivetrain consists of a KMC X10 chain with 10 speeds. The handlebars are Cannondale 3 made from butted 6061 aluminium with a 16-degree flare drop. The grips are made from Cannondale bar tape with a thickness of 3.5 mm. The stem is also a Cannondale 3 made from 6061 aluminium with a diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 7°. The head tube is integrated and tapers from 1.5" at the bottom to 1-1/8" at the top, and features a 25 mm aluminium top cap.

The rims are WTB ST i23 TCS with 28 spokes and are tubeless-ready. The tyres are WTB Riddler TCS Light in size 700 x 37c, also tubeless-ready. The hubs are by Formula with cartridge bearings and Centre Lock brake disc mounts: the front has a 12x100 mm axle and the rear a 12x142 mm axle. The spokes are made of stainless steel and have a gauge of 14g (Ai Offset Dish – rear).

The saddle is a Fabric Scoop Shallow Sport with steel rails, whilst the seatpost is a Cannondale 3 made from 6061 aluminium, measuring 27.2 x 350 mm. Pedals are not included with this model.
