Cannondale 700 M Topstone 0

The 2021 Cannondale 700 M Topstone 0 is a versatile gravel bike, available for €2,499. The frame is made from SmartForm C2 Alloy and features a 12x142 mm thru-axle, a tapered head tube and a flat-mount disc brake mount. The frame also offers StraightShot internal cable routing and multiple mounting points for pannier racks and bottle cages, making it particularly practical for longer rides.

The braking system consists of Shimano GRX 800 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm RT54 rotors at the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano GRX 800 and ensure reliable and precise braking performance. The drivetrain is fitted with a Shimano GRX 810 Shadow RD+ rear derailleur and Shimano GRX 800 shift levers, enabling 11-speed shifting. The front derailleur is a Shimano GRX 800 Braze-On, offering a total of 22 gears.

The bike’s fork is a BallisTec full-carbon fork with a 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" head tube, a 55 mm OutFront offset, Flat Mount disc brake mounts and internal cable routing, as well as a 12x100 mm thru-axle. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BBRS500, whilst the crankset consists of an FSA Omega AGX+ Alloy crankset with 46/30 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano 105 with a 11–34-tooth range and is also 11-speed.

The handlebars are Cannondale 3 made from butted 6061 aluminium with a 16-degree flare drop, fitted with Cannondale bar tape 3.5 mm thick. The stem is also a Cannondale 3 made from 6061 aluminium with a 31.8 mm clamp and a 7° angle. The headset consists of a 1-1/4" bottom bearing and a 25 mm top cap.

The wheelsets feature WTB KOM Light i23 TCS rims with 28 spokes and are tubeless-ready. The tyres are WTB Riddler TCS Light, measuring 700 x 37c, and are also tubeless-ready. The hubs are Formula Cartridge Bearing hubs with Centre Lock mounting, 12x100 mm at the front and 12x142 mm at the rear. The spokes are made of stainless steel and have a gauge of 14g.

The saddle is a Fabric Scoop Radius Sport with steel struts, whilst the seatpost is a Cannondale 3 made from 6061 aluminium, measuring 27.2 x 350 mm. Pedals are not included with this model.
