Bulls Wildtail 1 29

The "Wildtail 1 29" model from Bulls, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike available for €649. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 125 kg, which speaks to its solid and reliable construction.

TEKTRO MD-M280 disc brakes have been fitted, equipped with 160 mm 6-bolt brake discs at the front and rear. The bike’s gear system is controlled by the SHIMANO Tourney RD-TY300 rear derailleur and the SHIMANO ST-EF41 EZ Fire Plus shift levers, which also function as brake levers. The front derailleur is also a SHIMANO Tourney FD-TY500 model. In total, the bike offers 21 gears, providing a wide range of gear ratios for different types of terrain.

The Wildtail 1 29’s fork is an SR SUNTOUR XCE-28 with 100 mm of travel, which ensures good shock absorption on uneven terrain. The pedals are from BULLS and the crankset is a STYX model with 42/34/24T chainrings. The cassette is a SHIMANO MF-TZ500-7 with a 14–28T range, and the drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z-7 chain.

The handlebars are STYX Riserbars, which, together with the BULLS MTB grips, ensure comfortable handling. The stem is a STYX Ahead stem and the headset is an FSA no.11N model. The rims are DDM-2 and the tyres are STYX Ace of Pace 57-622, which offer good traction and stability. The hubs have a 6-hole design and are fitted with quick-release skewers, allowing for easy maintenance and wheel changes.

The saddle is a BULLS Sportive Comfort model, mounted on a STYX aluminium seatpost, which offers additional comfort and adjustability.
