Bulls Sharptail 1 Disc 29

The "Sharptail 1 Disc 29" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and reliable components. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which gives the bike a good balance between lightness and stability. With a maximum rider weight of 125 kg, it is also suitable for heavier riders.

Braking performance is provided by TEKTRO MD-M280 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at the front and rear, ensuring reliable deceleration and control in a variety of riding situations. The drivetrain is fitted with a SHIMANO Altus RD-M310 rear derailleur, which, together with the SHIMANO Tourney FD-TY500 front derailleur and the SHIMANO ST-EF500 EZ Fire shift/brake levers, offers a total of 24 gears. This provides a wide range of gear ratios for different types of terrain.

The SR SUNTOUR XCE-28 fork, with 100 mm of travel, provides additional comfort and control on uneven terrain. The bike is fitted with BULLS pedals, which ensure a reliable connection between rider and bike. The crankset consists of a SHIMANO Tourney 42/34/24T, whilst the cassette is a SHIMANO CS-HG200-8 with a 12–32T range. The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC Z-8.3 chain.

Riding comfort and control are provided by the STYX Riserbar handlebars and the BULLS MTB grips. The stem is a STYX A-Head stem, and the headset is an FSA no.11N. The DDM-2 rims are robust and reliable, whilst the STYX Ace of Pace tyres in size 57-622 provide good grip and stability. The hubs are fitted with a 6-hole mounting and quick-release mechanisms, making it easy to change wheels.

The saddle is a BULLS Sportive Comfort, which, together with the STYX aluminium seatpost, ensures a comfortable riding position. The “Sharptail 1 Disc 29” model is available at a price of 749 EUR and offers excellent value for money for both beginners and advanced mountain bikers.
