Bulls Pulsar 1

The "Pulsar 1" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust bicycle that stands out for its solid build quality and excellent value for money. Priced at 549 EUR, the Pulsar 1 offers an attractive option for beginners and leisure cyclists.

The bike’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium, which ensures a good balance between stability and weight. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage.

Braking performance is provided by TEKTRO brakes, which operate reliably and effectively. The gear system consists of a SHIMANO Tourney RD-TY200 with a total of 18 gears, controlled via the SHIMANO SL-RS36 Revoshift shift lever. The front derailleur is a SHIMANO Tourney FD-TY500, which ensures precise and smooth gear changes.

The fork is an SR SUNTOUR M3010 with 63 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs bumps on rough terrain, thus providing additional comfort. The pedals are by BULLS and offer good grip. The crankset consists of a STYX 42/34/24T, and the cassette is a SHIMANO MF-TZ500-6 with a range of 14–28T. The drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z-6 chain.

The handlebars are MTB riser bars, which, together with the Sport Grip grips, ensure a comfortable hand position. The Ahead stem and the FSA TH-848T headset complete the bike’s steering system. The rims are DBM-2, which, in combination with the STYX Ace of Pace 57-559 tyres, provide good traction and stability. The hubs feature a 10 mm axle, offering additional robustness.

The saddle is a BULLS Sportive Comfort, which, together with the aluminium seatpost, ensures a comfortable riding position, even on longer rides. Overall, the Pulsar 1 from Bulls offers a well-thought-out specification that is suitable for both everyday use and occasional off-road adventures.
