Bulls Machete

The "Machete" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a high-quality gravel bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 2,799 EUR, the bike offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical features.

The “Machete” frame is made from a carbon-fibre monocoque and features internal cable routing and a thru-axle. The frame is also suitable for bikepacking, making the bike particularly versatile. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, which is indicative of its robust construction.

Braking performance is provided by an SRAM braking system with 160 mm Centre Lock brake discs at both the front and rear. Gear changes are managed by the SRAM Apex system, which offers 12 speeds and is operated via SRAM Apex shift levers. The crankset is also SRAM Apex and has 38 teeth, whilst the cassette features a 12-speed range of 11–44T.

The bike’s fork is a Machete Carbon fork with internal cable routing and a 12 mm thru-axle, which contributes to stability and steering precision. The handlebars are a Gravel SL double-butted model, which, in combination with the 3mm Comfortgriptape grips, ensures a high level of comfort. The stem is a GRi, 3D-forged and CCS Slot Mount-ready, whilst the headset is an FSA ORBIT 1.5 ACR (NO.55R 1.5"/ACR/STD).

The rims are XC-21 Evo models, which are tubeless-ready, offering the option to switch to tubeless tyres. The tyres are SCHWALBE G-One R Evo, Super Race, V-Guard, TLE 45-622 and offer excellent grip and puncture protection. The hubs are Centre Lock models with thru-axles (O.LD. 100 mm front and rear), which contribute to the bike’s overall stability.

The saddle is a BULLS Gravel model, mounted on a BULLS aluminium seatpost, providing additional comfort.
