Bulls E-Stream EVO AM 5

The "E-Stream EVO AM 5" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-mountain bike which, at a price of 7,499 EUR, is positioned in the premium segment. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and was manufactured using hydroforming. It is designed to accommodate a 1.8 steerer tube and features internal cable routing and a thru-axle. The maximum permissible weight is 150 kg, which indicates a robust construction.

For the brakes, Bulls has opted for the SHIMANO BR-M8120 model. The front brake disc has a diameter of 220 mm and the rear one 203 mm; both are fitted with the Centre Lock system. The drivetrain consists of a SHIMANO Deore XT RD-M8100 shadow+ with twelve speeds, operated via SHIMANO Deore XT SL-M8100 shift levers, which utilise the rapidfire+ and I-spec-EV systems.

The suspension on the E-Stream EVO AM 5 is provided by a FOX Float 38 Factory Series fork with 150 mm of travel and a FOX Float X Performance Series rear shock, also with 150 mm of travel. The bike is set up for MonkeyLink Connect lighting, although the front and rear lights are not included.

The pedals are ZECURE MTB pedals, whilst the crankset is from FSA, measuring 165 mm in length. The cassette is a SHIMANO Deore XT 12-speed with a range of 10–51T. Power is transmitted via a GATES® CDN 122T system. The handlebars are BULLS Enduro Carbon and the grips are ERGON GE10. The stem is an MTBi-Sport, CCS Slot Mount-ready, and the headset is an Acros AZF-621.

The tyres are MAXXIS Minion DHF EXO TR and MAXXIS Minion DHR2 EXO TR in size 66-622, fitted to tubeless-ready SHIMANO WH-MT620 wheelsets. The saddle is an ERGON SM10 E-Mountain, and the seatpost is an electronic LIMOTEC E4 dropper post with a wireless remote, with the travel varying depending on frame size (S: 125 mm; M/L/XL: 150 mm). A FOX mini Fender on the fork serves as a mudguard.

The E-Stream EVO AM 5 is powered by a BROSE FIT S-Mag PRO motor with an output of 25/90 Nm. The battery is a FIT UltraCore 555 with a capacity of 555 Wh, controlled via a FIT LCD remote display. A FIT charger with an output of 4A is used for recharging.
