Bulls Daily Grinder 2

The "Daily Grinder 2" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance bike designed specifically for everyday use and bikepacking adventures. Priced at 1999 EUR, it offers impressive features and high quality.

The frame of the “Daily Grinder 2” is made from 6061 aluminium, which is double-walled for reinforcement and features smooth welds. The internal cable routing ensures a clean, tidy look and protects the cables from external damage. The frame is also suitable for bikepacking and is designed for a maximum load of up to 135 kg.

Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO GRX BR-RX400 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear, which are mounted using Centre Lock. The derailleur system consists of the SHIMANO GRX RD-RX400 and offers a total of 20 gears, operated via SHIMANO GRX ST-RX400 shift levers. The front derailleur is also a SHIMANO GRX FD-RX400, ensuring precise and reliable gear changes.

The bike’s fork is made of aluminium, which contributes to its stability and light weight. For optimum visibility in traffic, the “Daily Grinder 2” is fitted with a FUXON FS-70 EB front light, which offers 70 lux of LED output and features sensor and daytime running light functions. The rear light is a FUXON RZ-60.

The drivetrain consists of a PROWHEEL crankset with 46/30T and a SHIMANO CS-HG50-10 cassette with a range of 11–36T. The chain is a SHIMANO CN-HG54-10, which ensures smooth power transmission. The handlebars are a Gravel SL double-butted model, fitted with 3mm Comfortgriptape grips. The stem is an MTB-S, CCS Slot Mount-ready, and the headset is an FSA ORBIT C40ACB (NO.42/ACB).

The rims are XC-21 Evo and tubeless-ready, offering the option to switch to tubeless tyres. The tyres themselves are SCHWALBE G-ONE ALLROUND Perf, RaceGuard, TLE 40-622, which are suitable for a variety of surfaces. The front hub is a ShutterPrecision Hub dynamo PL-8QR CL, whilst the rear hub is fitted with Centre Lock and a quick-release mechanism.

The BULLS Gravel saddle, mounted on a BULLS aluminium seatpost, provides additional comfort. The bike is also fitted with aluminium mudguards to protect against splashes, as well as a BULLS Urban/Gravel luggage rack, which is ideal for carrying bags and kit.

All in all, the “Daily Grinder 2” is a well-designed and robust bike that is perfectly suited to both everyday use and longer rides.
