Bulls Black Adder Trail

The "Black Adder Trail" model from Bulls, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike that stands out for its advanced technical specifications and high-quality components. The bike’s frame is made from super-light carbon fibre using a monocoque construction and features a tapered head tube and internal cable routing. A telescopic seatpost completes the frame’s specifications. The maximum load capacity is 125 kg, indicating a robust yet lightweight construction.

The braking system is fitted with SHIMANO XTR disc brakes, which use 180 mm Centre Lock brake discs at both the front and rear. This ensures excellent braking performance in a wide variety of conditions. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS system with a SRAM Eagle AXS controller, offering a total of 12 gears. This electronic drivetrain enables precise and rapid gear changes.

The RockShox SID Ultimate RD fork, with 110 mm of travel, ensures excellent damping and control on uneven terrain. The crankset is a SRAM XX1 Eagle with 32 teeth, whilst the cassette is a SRAM XG-1295 12-speed Eagle with a range of 10–52 teeth. The drivetrain is also completed by SRAM XX1 Eagle components.

An FSA KFX Flat handlebar has been chosen, which, together with the ERGON GA20 grips, ensures comfortable and ergonomic handling. The stem is also an FSA KFX, and the headset is from ACROS with ZS44/ZS56 specifications.

The tyres are SCHWALBE Racing Ray and Racing Ralph Super Race, TLE 57-622, which are renowned for their excellent traction and durability. These are fitted to MAVIC Crossmax Carbon SL R wheelsets, which are prized for their lightness and stability. The hubs feature a Centre Lock design.

The saddle is a Prologo Scratch M5 Pas, mounted on a RockShox Reverb AXS seatpost. The seatpost length varies depending on frame size: 100 mm for size S, 125 mm for sizes M and L, and 150 mm for size XL.
