Bulls Black Adder RS

The "Black Adder RS" model from the "Bulls" brand, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 3,599 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The Black Adder RS’s frame is made from ultra-lightweight carbon fibre in a monocoque construction and features a tapered head tube and internal cable routing. This design not only ensures increased stiffness and robustness, but also delivers an aesthetically pleasing look. Another special feature of the frame is the telescopic seatpost, which provides additional comfort and adjustability. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 125 kg, making it suitable for heavier riders too.

For braking performance, the Black Adder RS is fitted with SHIMANO Deore XT BR-M8100 disc brakes, which use 180 mm Centre Lock brake discs at both the front and rear. These brakes offer excellent deceleration and control in a wide variety of conditions. The RockShox SID SL Select+ RL-R suspension fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures excellent damping and control on uneven terrain. The SHIMANO Deore XT FC-M8100 crankset with a 32-tooth chainring and the SHIMANO SLX 12-speed cassette (10-51T) offer a wide gear range suitable for both steep climbs and fast descents. The drivetrain is completed by the SHIMANO SLX CN-M7100 chain.

The bike’s handlebars are a BULLS XC Carbon model, which, together with the ERGON GA20 grips and the BULLS XC stem, provide a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The ACROS ZS44/ZS56 headset contributes to the stability and precision of the steering. The tyres are SCHWALBE Racing Ray / Racing Ralph Super Race, TLE 57-622, fitted to MAVIC Crossmax wheelsets. This combination offers excellent grip and low weight for optimum performance.

The SELLE ROYAL Sirio S1 saddle and the FSA SL-K Carbon seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, round off the overall package and ensure additional comfort during long rides.
