Brennabor T-44 Wave

The "T-44 Wave" model from Brennabor, launched in 2024, is a versatile trekking bike priced at 999 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium in a Wave design and, with a size of 45 cm, offers comfortable geometry for an upright riding position. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 18 kg, making it a stable yet manoeuvrable companion.

The braking system features the tried-and-tested SHIMANO “BR-MT200” disc brakes, both front and rear, with 180 mm SHIMANO “RT10” brake discs, which ensure reliable braking power. The gear system is a 2x8-speed SHIMANO “Altus”, operated by SHIMANO “SL-M315” shift levers, complemented by a SHIMANO “FD-TY710” front derailleur. This combination offers a total of 16 gears, allowing for flexible adaptation to different route profiles.

Riding comfort is ensured by the adjustable SUNTOUR “SF20-NEX-DS” fork with 75 mm of travel. The lighting comprises a CONTEC “Dlux 30 N++” front light with 30 lux and a CONTEC “CTL-135” rear light, powered by a SHIMANO “DH-C3000” hub dynamo. The UNION “SP-822” anti-slip pedals provide a secure grip, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC “Z72” chain.

The handlebars are HL “AL-325” aluminium bars, 660 mm wide and 31.8 mm in diameter, fitted with CONTEC “Tour Wing Eco” grips. The adjustable LEE CHI “MQ-521” stem allows for individual adjustment of the handlebar height. The SCHÜRMANN “YAK” hollow-section rims and CONTINENTAL “Ride City” tyres ensure reliable road holding.

The SELLE ROYAL “Essenza Plus” saddle and the aluminium patented seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm contribute to comfort on longer rides. Practical features such as the BÜCHEL plastic mudguards, an adjustable URSUS “Easy” kickstand and the STANDWELL “Mik” luggage rack round off the T-44 Wave’s specification, making it a solid trekking bike for everyday use and longer tours.
