Brennabor T-38e Trapez

The “T-38e Trapez” model from Brennabor, released in 2024, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 2,899 EUR. It features a sturdy aluminium frame (6061 aluminium) in a trapezoidal shape with a frame height of 45 cm and has a maximum load capacity of 140 kg, whilst weighing 25 kg itself.

The braking system consists of ALHONGA “HT-474” brakes and brake levers, complemented by SHIMANO “RT30” front and rear brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm, which ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is a SHIMANO “Acera” with SHIMANO “Altus” shift levers, providing 8 gears. The adjustable RST “Blaze” fork, with 80 mm of travel, offers comfort on a variety of road surfaces.

Lighting is provided by the CONTEC “Dlux 30 E+” at the front, with 30 lux, and the CONTEC “CTL-335 E” at the rear. The bike is fitted with MARWI “SP-827” pedals, whilst the drivetrain uses a KMC “Z8.1” chain. The crankset is a STRONGLIGHT “Brennabor” with a length of 170 mm, complemented by a STRONGLIGHT “Stahl” chainring with 38 teeth and a SHIMANO “HG-400” cassette ranging from 11 to 40.

The handlebars are ERGOTEC “Ergo XL”, 680 mm wide and 31.8 mm in diameter, whilst the CONTEC “Tour Wing Eco” grips provide additional comfort. The adjustable ERGOTEC “Sepia Ahead 50” stem allows for individual adjustments to the riding position. The “X17” aluminium hollow-section rims are fitted with CONTINENTAL “Contact Urban” tyres in size 55-622, mounted on both the front and rear wheels. The spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The SELLE ROYAL “Essenza Plus” saddle and the Ergotec “SP-10” suspension seatpost contribute to a comfortable ride. Curana “Apollo” mudguards, 65 mm wide, protect against dirt and spray, whilst the HESLING “Velo” Bosch Gen.3 chain guard protects the drivetrain. An adjustable URSUS “King 2” kickstand ensures the bike stands securely.

The bike features a CONTEC “Powerloc” lock for security and a MASSLOAD “TA7653A” luggage rack with MIK system for additional storage space. The BOSCH Gen.3 “Active Line PLUS” mid-drive motor, with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, provides powerful assistance, whilst the BOSCH “Powerpack 500” battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, offers sufficient power for longer rides. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display, featuring 4 levels, a remote control and a push-assist function, allows for easy control and monitoring of ride data. A BOSCH 2 Ah charger completes the technical setup of this e-bike.
