Brennabor T-28e

The Brennabor T-28e, launched in 2022, is an electric bike which, at a price of 2,649 euros, represents an attractive option in the mid-price range. Fitted with a third-generation BOSCH ‘Active Line’ mid-drive motor, the bike delivers 250 watts of power and is powered by a BOSCH ‘Powerpack 500’ lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. Control is via the BOSCH “Intuvia” display, which offers a 4-speed gear system and a push-assist function.

Safety is ensured by the PROMAX “RC-903” braking system, comprising hydraulic rim brakes and matching brake levers. The 7-speed gear system is operated via the SHIMANO “Nexus” gear lever, enabling precise and reliable gear selection. The SUNTOUR “SF14 CR-85 E25” fork is adjustable and offers 63 mm of travel, ensuring comfort on uneven terrain.

The T-28e’s lighting is provided by the CONTEC “Dlux 30 E+” front light (30 lux) and the CONTEC “CTL-335 E” rear light, which ensure good visibility in traffic. The bike is fitted with MARWI “SP-827” pedals and features a STRONGLIGHT “Brennabor” crankset with a length of 170 mm. The SHIMANO 20-tooth sprocket and the KMC “e1” drivetrain complete the drivetrain system.

The ERGOTEC “Lady Town” handlebars, 640 mm wide and 31.8 mm in diameter, together with the CONTEC “Tour Wing Eco” grips, ensure comfortable handling. The adjustable ERGOTEC “Sepia Ahead 50” stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The hollow-section aluminium rims, fitted with CORDURA “Dayak” tyres, offer additional protection against punctures thanks to their 3 mm puncture-protection insert.

The bike is fitted with SHIMANO hubs; the front hub, the “HB-TX500”, features a quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear hub incorporates a 7-speed Nexus internal gear hub. The black stainless steel spokes complement the bike’s robust design. The SELLE ROYAL “Essenza Plus” saddle, combined with the suspension-equipped Ergotec “SP-10” seatpost, offers a high level of riding comfort.

Additional features such as the plastic mudguards from SKS, the HESLING “Move” Bosch Gen.3 chain guard and the adjustable URSUS “King 2” kickstand enhance the bike’s suitability for everyday use. An integrated luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap allows you to carry items, whilst the CONTEC “Powerloc” lock ensures security. The Brennabor T-28e thus combines functionality and comfort in a stylish design that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
