Brennabor A-82e

The "A-82e" model from Brennabor, launched in 2022, is a versatile and technically advanced e-bike which, at a price of 3,549 EUR, represents an attractive option in the mid-range price segment. Fitted with a powerful fourth-generation BOSCH “Performance CX” mid-drive motor, the bike delivers a rated power output of 250 W at a voltage of 36 V. The accompanying BOSCH “Powertube 500” battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures a sufficient range and is charged using a BOSCH 2 Ah charger.

Safe and reliable braking performance is provided by the SHIMANO “BR-MT420/420” brakes in combination with the SHIMANO “Deore BL-M4100” brake levers. The brake discs, also from SHIMANO, have a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear. The gear system is based on the tried-and-tested SHIMANO “Deore” technology, which is used for both the derailleurs and the shift levers. The sprocket set, with a range of 11–42 teeth, and the KMC “e10” drivetrain complement the gear system perfectly.

Suspension is provided by the SUNTOUR “Mobie25” fork, which is fitted with an adjustable lockout and 100 mm of travel. This fork is designed for use with disc brakes and features a QR15 Boost mount. Lighting is provided by the CONTEC “Dlux 50 E+” front light (50 lux) and the CONTEC “CTL-335 E-Stop” rear light with brake light function.

The A-82e’s drivetrain is characterised by ERGOTEC components: the “Low Riser” handlebars are 720 mm wide and have a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the adjustable “Sephia Ahead” stem is also made of aluminium. The ERGOTEC “Viper” seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, supports the SELLE ROYAL “Essenza Plus” saddle.

The wheelsets consist of “X19” aluminium hollow-section rims, fitted with CONTINENTAL “Ruban Plus” tyres in size 58-584, which offer additional safety thanks to their reflective strips. The hubs are SHIMANO “HB-MT400-B” at the front and “FH-MT400-B” at the rear, both fitted with E-Thru Boost and Centre Lock. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

Additional features such as the SKS plastic mudguards, the adjustable URSUS “King2” kickstand and the MASSLOAD “CL648” luggage rack with MIK system round off the overall package. The BOSCH “Purion” display offers intuitive operation with four assistance levels and a push assist function. Overall, the Brennabor A-82e is a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides.
