Der leichte, wendige und stabile Rahmen beherbergt einen internen 630 Wh Akku. Durch den serienmäßigen XPRO Range Extender bietet das iLynx+ SL in fast allen Varianten eine Akkukapazität von 810 Wh. Dank der Dual Discharge Technologie kann diese durch den Einsatz weiterer Range Extender beliebig erweitert werden.
Eigenschaften wie die Unterstützungsmodi können in der Shimano E-Tube App individuell angepasst werden. Gesteuert wird der Motor über die Bedieneinheit EN600L in Kombination mit dem Shimano EN600 Display.
