BH Bikes ATOM CITY WAVE PRO

The "ATOM CITY WAVE PRO" model from BH Bikes, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike designed for urban use. Priced at 2,799 EUR, it offers a comprehensive range of features and solid technical specifications. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy, which contributes to the bike’s overall stability and allows for a maximum load of up to 165 kg. The bike itself weighs 24 kg.

The ATOM CITY WAVE PRO’s braking system features Shimano MT200 brakes with 180 mm rotors at both the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore 10-speed system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The gear lever is also from Shimano Deore.

The bike’s fork is an SR Suntour NEX HLO with 63 mm of travel, providing extra comfort on uneven roads. For lighting, B&M Dopp 35 Lux front lights and B&M Toplight rear lights are fitted, ensuring good visibility in traffic. The pedals are non-slip to ensure a secure grip.

The drivetrain is assisted by a BH 1E-36V motor, which is powered by a TS System battery with a capacity of 720 Wh. The BH X Display Lite offers simple and intuitive control of the e-bike system.

Other features include an FSA 38T-170mm crankset, a Shimano CSM4100 10-speed cassette (11-46T), a Shimano HG54 drivetrain, a BH City Alloy handlebar 640 mm wide and Ergon GP10 grips. The stem is adjustable, ensuring an optimal riding position. The tyres are Schwalbe Big Apple 50-622, which ensure a comfortable and safe ride. The hubs are by Shimano and the wheels are made from a double-walled aluminium alloy.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Look In Basic Comfort model, mounted on a suspension seatpost made of aluminium with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The bike is also fitted with Curana Clite mudguards, a chain guard, a kickstand and an Axa Block lock. A Racktime luggage rack makes it easy to carry loads, and a Winter Battery Cover protects the battery in cold temperatures.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 448 mm, a stack of 673 mm, a seat tube length of 540 mm, a top tube length of 635 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 74.5 degrees, a head tube length of 180 mm, a chainstay length of 460 mm and a bottom bracket height of 297 mm. These dimensions contribute to a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.
