Bergamont Horizon Plus 6 Lady

The "Horizon Plus 6 Lady" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a versatile trekking bike designed for a wide range of uses. Priced at 1,399 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of stability, comfort and performance. The frame is made from a super-strong AL-6061 tube set and has a 28" size, ensuring high load-bearing capacity. The maximum load capacity is 160 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 18 kg.

The bike is designed for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm in height. It is fitted with high-quality components that ensure a reliable and safe ride. The Tektro HD-M745 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers on both the front and rear wheels, together with the 180 mm brake discs, ensure excellent braking performance in a variety of conditions.

The drivetrain features the Shimano RD-M3100 Shadow System with a 3x9-speed Rapidfire Plus shifter, offering a total of 27 gears. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M370, and the crankset consists of a Shimano FC-T3010 with 48/36/26 teeth and a chain guard. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-UN101 with a BSA thread, and the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200 with a range of 11–32 teeth.

The Suntour Mobie A32 DS fork, with 63 mm of travel and adjustable preload, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the B&M Dopp N Plus front light with 35 lux and LED technology, and the B&M Toplight 2 C Plus rear light, both featuring a parking light function.

The bike is also fitted with aluminium trekking pedals, a Syncros Capilano Trekking Memory Foam saddle and a BGM Pro seatpost. The handlebars are 680 mm wide with a 15° bend, whilst the stem is adjustable and measures 90 mm in length.

The wheels are fitted with Cross X17 Disc rims and Schwalbe Energizer Plus Tour tyres (55-622), which feature Greenguard and reflective strips. The hubs are Shimano components, with the front hub being a hub dynamo (DH-UR708) and the rear hub a Shimano FH-M3050 with a quick-release mechanism.

Additional features include SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts, an SKS Chainblade chain guard, an Atran kickstand and an Atran Maxi HD luggage rack, which is designed for fitting a child seat.

With a seat tube length of 415 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, the Horizon Plus 6 Lady offers a comfortable riding position. Further geometric specifications include a top tube length of 580 mm, a chainstay length of 465 mm and a wheelbase of 1100 mm. The bottom bracket has a height of 313 mm and a drop of 60 mm.
