Bergamont Horizon 6 Lady white/black/silver blue

The "Horizon 6 Lady white/black/silver blue" model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a versatile trekking bike available for €849. The bike’s frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and has a 28" size. Weighing 17 kg, it offers a sturdy yet lightweight construction.

The bike’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200), fitted with SM-RT10 rotors. The front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm, whilst the rear brake disc measures 160 mm. The brake levers are also from Shimano (BL-MT200) and ensure reliable braking performance.

The gear system comprises a Shimano Deore rear derailleur (RD-M591) with 27 speeds, operated via Rapidfire Plus shifters (SL-M2010). The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M370, and the crankset is a Shimano FC-T3010 with a 48/36/26-tooth configuration and a chain guard. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200-9 with a range of 11–32 teeth, and power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

A comfortable ride is ensured by the Suntour NEX DS HLO fork with 63 mm of travel and adjustable preload. The bike is also fitted with a BGM Comp seatpost (Post Moderne PM-780E), which is suspension-equipped, and an Ergon ST10 saddle, which offers additional comfort.

Lighting is provided by a B&M Upp N Plus front light with 30 lux and a parking light, as well as a B&M Toplight 2 C Plus rear light with LED and a parking light. The pedals are made of aluminium and are designed for trekking use.

The bike features BGM Comp Riser handlebars with a 33° bend, as well as BGM Comfort Ergo grips with screw-on attachment. The stem is a BGM Comp Vario with a clamp diameter of 25.4 mm. The headset is semi-integrated and measures 1 1/8".

The wheels consist of BGM Pro X15 rims with 32 spokes and Schwalbe Road Cruiser tyres (42-622) featuring Kevlarguard and reflective strips. The front hub is a Shimano hub dynamo (DH-3D37) with Centre Lock and a quick-release mechanism, whilst the rear hub is also from Shimano and likewise features Centre Lock and a quick-release mechanism.

Additional features include SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts, an Atran kickstand and a BGM Trekking aluminium luggage rack with the Racktime Snapit system and integrated mudguard mounts. This model is therefore ideally suited to longer tours and everyday use in an urban environment.
