Bergamont Horizon 6 Lady mint

The "Horizon 6 Lady mint" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, offers a balanced combination of comfort and functionality. Priced at 999 EUR, this bike is aimed at women looking for a reliable and well-equipped trekking bike. The frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 17 kg.

The Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes ensure reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. The Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers are also hydraulic and allow for precise control. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm, ensuring optimum braking performance.

The gear system consists of a Shimano RD-M3100 Shadow derailleur with 27 speeds, operated via Shimano SL-M2010 Rapidfire Plus shifters. The Syncros Capilano Urban saddle and the Post Moderne PM-780E suspension seatpost provide additional comfort. SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts and an SKS Chainblade chain guard offer protection against dirt and water. The luggage rack is a BGM Trekking Aluminium/Racktime Snapit 2.0 system with integrated mudguard mounts.

The bike’s geometry is also well thought out: With a seat tube length of 415 mm, a top tube length of 580 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees, the Horizon 6 Lady mint offers a comfortable and stable riding position. Other dimensions, such as the wheelbase of 1089 mm and the chainstay length of 455 mm, contribute to stability and riding safety.
