Bergamont Horizon 6 Amsterdam blue

The "Horizon 6 Amsterdam blue" model from Bergamont, released in 2022, is a versatile trekking bike that offers excellent value for money at a price of 949 EUR. The frame is made from lightweight AL-6061 tubing and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 17 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200), which, together with the hydraulic brake levers (BL-MT200), ensure reliable deceleration. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT10).

The handlebars are BGM Comp Riser Bars with a 33° rise, whilst the grips are BGM Comfort Ergo Double Density in the clamp version. The stem is also from BGM Comp and is adjustable, with a clamp diameter of 25.4 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated BGM Comp (1 1/8").

The rims are BGM Pro X15 Disc with 32 spoke holes, laced with black steel spokes and fitted with Schwalbe Road Cruiser tyres (47-622) featuring Kevlarguard and reflective strips. The front hub is a Shimano hub dynamo (DH-3D37) and the rear hub is a Shimano hub, both featuring Centre Lock discs and quick-release mechanisms.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano Urban, mounted on a Post Moderne PM-780E suspension seatpost. Mudguards from SKS with stainless steel struts, as well as an SKS Chainblade chain guard, ensure added comfort and keep the bike clean. An Atran kickstand and a BGM trekking luggage rack with the Racktime Snapit 2.0 system and integrated mudguard mount complete the specification.
