Bergamont Horizon 3 Gent

The "Horizon 3 Gent" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a versatile trekking bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg.

The Horizon 3 Gent is designed for riders between 157 cm and 167 cm in height. The braking system consists of Tektro V-brakes at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano ST-EF500-8 brake levers. The gear system comprises a Shimano RD-M310 derailleur with 24 speeds, operated by Shimano ST-EF500 shift levers in a 3x8-speed STI configuration. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-TY601.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano Trekking, mounted on a Post Moderne PM-780E suspension seat post. SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts are fitted to protect against dirt and spray, whilst the SKS Chainblade serves as a chain guard. An Atran kickstand ensures stable parking, and the BGM Trekking aluminium luggage rack with the Racktime Snapit 2.0 system offers practical transport solutions.
