Bergamont Hans-On

The "Hans-On" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from a 20-inch lite AL-6061 tube set and contributes to the stability of the bike, which has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg and weighs 16 kg. Priced at 1,199 EUR, the “Hans-On” offers good value for money.

The bike is suitable for riders between 162 cm and 197 cm tall, making it a versatile model. Safety is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT10).

The gear system comprises a Shimano RD-R3000 with a Shimano SL-R3000 shifter, enabling 1x9-speed Rapidfire Plus shifting. The crankset is an FSA CK-201 with 42 teeth, and the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201 with a range of 11–34 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain.

The fork on the “Hans-On” is made of aluminium and is a BGM rigid fork, which contributes to a stable ride. Lighting is provided by a B&M Dopp N Plus front light with 35 lux and LED technology, as well as a B&M Secuzed Plus rear light, which is integrated into the mudguard.

The bike is fitted with foldable Marwi SP-153 pedals, a sealed cartridge bottom bracket (BSA) and a Satori Fastback stem with Speedlifter. The handlebars are BGM Pro high-riser handlebars with a 15-degree bend, a width of 680 mm and ergonomic BGM Comfort grips.

The wheels consist of Ryde Andra 40 rims with Sapim Leader spokes, and the tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto-X with Greenguard technology (62-406) on both the front and rear. A KT JH-KC5F hub dynamo is fitted at the front, whilst a Shimano FH-M3050 hub with Centre Lock disc and quick-release is used at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano Urban model, mounted on a Satori Trident seatpost with a length of 450 mm. Other features include Curana Apollo mudguards with stainless steel struts, a Hebie Elex kickstand, and Atran front and rear racks with the AVS Click System.

The frame geometry comprises a seat tube length of 485 mm, a top tube length of 571 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees and a seat tube angle of 69 degrees. The head tube length is 250 mm, the chainstay length 460 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 20 mm and the fork offset is 38 mm. The top tube height is 648 mm, the fork installation height is 361 mm, the crank length is 170 mm and the wheelbase is 1050 mm. The bottom bracket height is specified as 288 mm.
