Bergamont E-Horizon SUV Country Wave

The "E-Horizon SUV Country Wave" model from Bergamont, launched in 2024, is a versatile and robust e-bike that stands out thanks to a wide range of technical features and high-quality specifications. The frame is constructed from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and features an integrated Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 27 kg.

The E-Horizon SUV Country Wave is suitable for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm in height. Tektro HD-M745 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers are fitted at both the front and rear. The brake levers and brake discs (180 mm) are also from Tektro. The gear system consists of a Shimano Deore Linkglide with 10 speeds and a Rapidfire Plus shifter.

The Suntour NVX30 NLO DS fork offers 75 mm of travel, providing extra comfort on uneven terrain. Visibility is ensured by the B&M Dopp front light (35 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2 C rear light. The pedals are made of aluminium and the crankset is from FSA with 38 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Linkglide with a range of 11–43 teeth.

The handlebars are Syncros riser bars, 680 mm wide with a 15° rise. The grips are ergonomic BGM Comfort screw-on grips. The stem is adjustable and has a length of 90 mm. The saddle is a Syncros Capilano Trekking Memory Foam, which provides extra comfort, whilst the seatpost is from BGM Pro.

The rims are BGM Pro X17, disc, with eyelets, and the tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus with reflective strips (54-622). The hubs are by Shimano and feature a Centre Lock disc system with quick-release skewers. Curana Apollo mudguards with stainless steel struts, along with an SKS Chainbooster chain guard, offer additional protection against dirt and water. The luggage rack is a Racktime / BGM Trekking Pro with the Snapit 2.0 system and integrated mudguard mounts.

The motor is a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX with 250 W power output and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The display is a Bosch LED Remote with Intuvia 100 display, and the charger is a Bosch Standard Charger with 4A. The bike has a gross weight of 32.9 kg.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 392 mm, a stack of 643 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm and a top tube length of 595 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, the head tube length is 170 mm and the chainstay length is 505 mm. Other dimensions include a bottom bracket drop of 70 mm, a fork offset of 42 mm, a top tube height of 427 mm, a fork installation height of 458 mm, a crank length of 170 mm, a wheelbase of 1151 mm and a bottom bracket height of 304 mm.
