Bergamont E-Horizon Sport 6 Lady

The E-Horizon Sport 6 Lady by Bergamont, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike designed specifically for women. It offers a wide range of technical features and comfort to make both short and longer rides enjoyable. The model is suitable for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm tall and costs 3,899 EUR.

The frame of the E-Horizon Sport 6 Lady is made from a super-light AL-6061 tube set and is fitted with an integrated PowerTube battery. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg.

Safety is ensured by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) at both the front and rear, controlled by Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers. The brake discs each have a diameter of 180 mm. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore Linkglide system featuring an RD-M5130 Shadow Plus rear derailleur and an SL-M5130 Rapidfire Plus shifter, offering a total of 10 gears.

The Suntour NVX30 DS fork, with 75 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. For lighting, the bike is fitted with a B&M Dopp front light (35 lux) and a B&M Toplight 2 C rear light.

The bottom bracket and crankset are from Bosch and FSA, with the crankset fitted with a 38-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Linkglide (CS-LG600-10) with a range of 11–43 teeth. Power is transmitted via a Shimano Linkglide CN-LG500 chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15-degree rise and a height of 5 mm. The grips are ergonomic BGM Comfort grips with double density and a screw-on design. The Satori Python stem is adjustable and has a length of 90 mm. The handlebars are 660 mm wide and have a rise of 5 mm.

The Ryde Rival 23 Disc rims are eyeleted and fitted with Sapim Leader spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Tour with Greenguard technology and reflective strips, size 55-622. The hubs are a Shimano HB-MT200 at the front and a Shimano at the rear, both with CentreLock disc mounts and quick-release mechanisms.

The Syncros Capilano Trekking Memory Foam saddle offers a high level of comfort, supported by a BGM Pro seatpost. The bike is also fitted with Curana Apollo mudguards, an integrated chain guard within the motor cover, a Syncros kickstand and a Racktime / BGM Trekking Pro luggage rack with the Snapit 2.0 system.

It is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an output of 250 W and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is charged using a Bosch Standard Charger with 4A output. The display is a Bosch LED Remote with Intuvia 100 display.

The frame geometry comprises a reach of 406 mm, a stack of 649 mm, a seat tube length of 415 mm, a top tube length of 605 mm, and head tube and seat tube angles of 69 and 73 degrees respectively. Further dimensions include a head tube length of 140 mm, chainstay length of 505 mm, bottom bracket drop of 60 mm, fork offset of 44 mm, top tube height of 759 mm, fork installation height of 508 mm, crank length of 170 mm, wheelbase of 1181 mm and a bottom bracket height of 295 mm.

When packed, the bike measures 26 mm in width, 119 mm in height and 197 mm in length, with a gross weight of 38,460 g. The E-Horizon Sport 6 Lady is therefore a well-designed and well-equipped e-bike that combines comfort, safety and performance in an attractive package.
