Bergamont E-Horizon N8 FH 500 Amsterdam black/black/silver

The "E-Horizon N8 FH 500 Amsterdam black/black/silver" model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike available at a price of EUR 2,999. It is characterised by its robust frame, which is made from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and houses an integrated PowerTube battery. The bike’s total weight is 25 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with SM-RT10 rotors; the front rotor has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm. The brake levers are also from Shimano (BL-MT200). The gear system consists of a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8 freehub hub with 8 speeds, operated via Shimano Nexus SL-C6000 twist shifters.

The fork on the E-Horizon N8 FH 500 is a Suntour (NCX D LO) model, offering 63 mm of travel and a lockout function. Visibility is ensured by the B&M Upp front light (30 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2 C rear light, both of which are LED models and specifically designed for e-bikes.

The bike is fitted with aluminium trekking pedals and features a Bosch bottom bracket with an ISIS connection. The crankset is an FSA CK-200 with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano model with 20 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z1eHX Wide EPT chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15° rise and a height of 5 mm. The grips are ergonomic BGM Comfort screw-on grips. The stem is adjustable and offers an angle of between 17° and 25°. The headset is a semi-integrated FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset with a tapered design.

The rims are Mach 1 ER20 disc rims with eyelets, and the tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus with reflective strips in size 47-622. The front hub is a Shimano Centre Lock disc quick-release hub and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8 freehub with Centre Lock disc. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza designed specifically for women, fitted to a BGM Pro seatpost. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts, an Atran kickstand and a BGM / Racktime luggage rack.

Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Drive Unit Active Line Plus motor with an output of 250 W at 36 V, enabling a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display.
