Bergamont E-Horizon Expert 600 Amsterdam anthracite/black

The “E-Horizon Expert 600 Amsterdam anthracite/black” model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike available at a price of 3,699 EUR. It features a 28-inch frame made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tubing and an integrated PowerTube battery, resulting in a total weight of 24 kg.

The brakes consist of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with SM-RT10 rotors (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear). The brake levers are also by Shimano (BL-MT200), ensuring precise and reliable braking performance. The groupset is a Shimano SLX (RD-M7000, Shadow Plus) with a 1x11-speed Rapidfire Plus shifter (SL-M7000), which enables smooth and efficient gear changes. The cassette (CS-M7000) offers a range of 11–42 teeth.

The Suntour NCX E air fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces. The lighting system consists of a B&M IQ-XS front light with 70 lux and a B&M Toplight 2 C rear light, both LED models and specifically designed for e-bikes.

The bike is fitted with aluminium trekking pedals, an FSA CK-320 crankset with 38 teeth and a Bosch bottom bracket. Power is transmitted via a KMC e11S chain. The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15° bend and a height of 5 mm, complemented by Ergon GP10 grips and an adjustable BGM Pro stem (17°–25°). The headset is a semi-integrated FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset with a tapered design.

The wheels feature Mach 1 ER20 Disc rims, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres (47-622) and featuring reflective strips for improved visibility. The hubs are Shimano HB-M4050 (Centrelock, disc, quick-release) at the front and Shimano FH-M4050 (Centrelock, disc, quick-release) at the rear, connected by Sapim Leader spokes.

The Ergon ST10 saddle and the BGM Pro seatpost provide additional comfort. Racktime Wingee mudguards, a Syncros kickstand and a BGM / Racktime luggage rack complete the specification. Power is provided by a fourth-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Cruise motor with an output of 250 W and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery has a capacity of 625 Wh, which is monitored via the Bosch Intuvia display.
