Bergamont E-Horizon Expert 6 Gent

The "E-Horizon Expert 6 Gent" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its technical specifications and features. The bike features a 28-inch frame made from super-light aluminium (AL-6061 tubing) and is fitted with an integrated Bosch PowerTube battery. The maximum permissible weight is 130 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 28 kg.

Optimal braking performance is ensured by Tektro HD-M745 hydraulic disc brakes with 4 pistons at both the front and rear. The brake levers and brake discs (180 mm) are also from Tektro. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M6100 with Shadow Plus technology and a Rapidfire Plus shifter, offering a total of 12 gears.

The e-bike is fitted with a Suntour NVX30 NLO fork, which offers 75 mm of travel and has a 15x100 mm axle. Lighting is provided by the B&M Myc front light (50 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2 C rear light, both of which are LED models. The pedals are Marwi SP-890 matt sandblock.

Power is provided by a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, enabling a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Other features include an FSA CK-320 crankset with 38 teeth, a Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette (10–51t), and a KMC e12S chain. The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15-degree bend and a height of 5 mm, whilst the grips are BGM Comfort Ergo Double Density screw-on grips. The stem is a Satori Python, which is adjustable, and the headset is an Acros A-Headset, semi-integrated, with an integrated cable guide.

The wheelsets consist of Ryde Rival 23 Disc rims and Sapim Leader spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus Tour with Greenguard and reflective strips (55-622). The front hub is a Shimano HB-M3050 and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-MT401. The saddle is a Syncros Capilano Trekking Memory Foam, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost.

In addition, the bike features Curana Apollo mudguards with stainless steel struts, a chain guard integrated into the motor cover, a Syncros kickstand and a Racktime/BGM Trekking Pro luggage rack with the Snapit 2.0 system. The price of the E-Horizon Expert 6 Gent is 4,199 EUR. The packaging measures 26 mm wide, 118 mm high and 198 mm long, with a gross weight of 38,700 g.
