Bergamont E-Horizon Edition Lady

The "E-Horizon Edition Lady" model from the "Bergamont" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike designed specifically for discerning female cyclists. Priced at EUR 3,299, this bike offers a wide range of technical features and specifications that ensure both comfort and performance.

The frame of the E-Horizon Edition Lady is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The integrated PowerTube battery creates a sleek look and improves weight distribution. The maximum permissible weight is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with matching brake levers (BL-MT200). The front brake disc measures 180 mm and the rear 160 mm; both are Shimano SM-RT10 models. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore RD-M4120 Shadow with a 1x10-speed system, operated by Shimano Deore SL-M4100 Rapidfire Plus shift levers.

The Suntour NEX E25 suspension fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfortable suspension on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a B&M Dopp LED front light with 35 lux and a B&M Toplight 2 C LED rear light. Aluminium trekking pedals offer a secure grip.

The bottom bracket and crankset are from Bosch and FSA, with the crankset fitted with a 38-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with a range of 11–42 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser Bars with a 15° backsweep and a 5 mm rise, complemented by ergonomic BGM Comfort grips. The stem is also from BGM Pro and is adjustable, whilst the headset is an FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Ryde Rival 23 Disc with eyelets, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres, which offer additional safety thanks to reflective strips. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT200 with Centre Lock disc mounts and quick-release skewers, connected by Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Gent, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost. Mudguards from Racktime Wingee and an SKS Chainbooster chain guard provide additional protection against dirt and wet conditions. An Atran kickstand ensures stable parking.

The luggage rack is a Racktime/BGM Trekking Pro with the Snapit 2.0 system and integrated mudguard mounts. The e-bike is powered by a third-generation Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor with 250 W of power and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, and the Bosch Purion display complete the electric system, whilst the Bosch Compact Charger (2A) provides the necessary power.
