Bergamont E-Horizon Edition Amsterdam pale green/black

The "E-Horizon Edition Amsterdam pale green/black" model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike available for €3,199. It features a 28-inch frame made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tubing and is fitted with an integrated PowerTube battery. The bike’s total weight is 24 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with an SM-RT10 rotor; the front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one 160 mm. The brake levers are also from Shimano (BL-MT200). The gear system comprises a Shimano Deore derailleur (RD-M6000, Shadow Plus) and a Shimano Deore shifter (SL-M6000) with 10 speeds, operated via Rapidfire Plus shifters.

The front suspension is provided by a Suntour NCX D air fork with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function. The e-bike is lit by a B&M IQ-XS front light with 70 lux and LED technology, as well as a B&M Toplight 2 C LED rear light. The pedals are made of aluminium and are specifically designed for trekking.

Power is delivered via a Bosch bottom bracket (Isis) and an FSA CK-200 crankset with 38 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with a gear ratio of 11–42T, and the chain is a KMC e10S. The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15° bend and a height of 5 mm, fitted with Ergon GP10 grips. The stem is also from BGM Pro and is adjustable between 17° and 25°. The headset is an FSA NO.57SC-1 A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Mach 1 ER20 disc rims, which are eyeleted, and the tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus with reflective strips, size 47-622. The hubs are by Shimano (front: HB-MT200, rear: FH-MT200), both fitted with Centre Lock disc brakes and quick-release skewers. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is an Ergon ST10, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost. The bike is also fitted with Racktime Wingee mudguards, an Atran kickstand and a BGM/Racktime luggage rack.

The motor is a third-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line Cruise with an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V, which accelerates the e-bike to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch 36 V Li-ion PowerTube with a capacity of 500 Wh, controlled via the Bosch Intuvia display.
