Bergamont E-Cargoville LT Expert

The 2022 "E-Cargoville LT Expert" model from Bergamont offers a versatile and robust solution for transport in urban environments. Priced at 4,599 EUR, this e-cargo bike is aimed at users who value quality and functionality.

The frame of the E-Cargoville LT Expert is made from a lightweight yet sturdy AL-6061 tubular frame set and is fitted with heavy-duty luggage racks at both the front and rear. The PowerPack battery is seamlessly integrated. The maximum permissible weight is 190 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 36 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Magura CMe5 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and MDR-C rotors measuring 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore XT system featuring an RD-M8100 Shadow Plus rear derailleur and a Shimano Deore SL-M6100 shifter, enabling 1x12-speed shifting.

The fork is a BGM Cargo, made from extra-strong CrMo steel, and offers additional stability thanks to its rigid construction. Lighting is provided by a B&M IQ-XS front light with 70 lux and a B&M Toplight 2 C rear light, both LED models.

The bottom bracket is from Bosch and is paired with an FSA CK-200 crankset featuring a 38-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100 with a 10–51-tooth range. Power is transmitted via a KMC e12 EPT chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riserbars with a 50 mm rise, complemented by Ergon GP10 grips and an adjustable BGM Cargo stem. The headset is a semi-integrated Acros A-Headset, designed for a tapered fork ranging from 1 1/8" to 1.5".

The rims are Ryde Andra 40 Disc models, fitted with Schwalbe Super-Moto-X tyres, which offer additional puncture protection thanks to their Greenguard technology. The front hub is a BGM Pro Disc hub with a 15x100 mm axle, and the rear hub is a Shimano Deore XT FH-M8110-B Disc hub with a 12x148 mm axle. Sapim Leader spokes provide additional stability.

The saddle is an Ergon ST10 model, mounted on a BGM Pro seatpost. Curana Apollo mudguards with stainless steel struts protect against dirt and water. A sturdy two-legged centre stand ensures stability, whilst the BGM custom Carrier luggage rack is fitted with the Atran AVS system at both the front and rear.

Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line Cruise motor with an output of 250 W and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerPack battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is controlled via the Bosch Kiox display. A Bosch Standard Charger with a 4A charging capacity completes the setup.
